i noticed the house across the street was on fire when i woke up for work on saturday.

the other tenant in my building is a firefighter, so he called his lieutenant.

all 13 people in the building got out completely unscathed.

i have recently become obsessed with herkimer diamonds. i love how this one is used in it's organic form, so rough and oversized. sometimes, they have bubbles of water trapped inside and sometimes, one crystal will grow inside of another. there is something so beautiful about that - one growing inside of the other.
